Newquay, Cornwall

Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 1 June 2013 in Landscape & Rural.

A short drive around the coast from Padstow lies the much larger town of Newquay. Surfing is popular here, despite the typical UK weather.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Beautiful image. I love the patterns of the braking waves sliding up and down the beach with their own rhythms. They make very eye-catching and graphic patterns. And the whole thing set off by the people providing both context and scale. Lovely image!

What a superb view. It reminds me of Normandy!

Excellent compo in four main parts, very calculated, and the drawings of the sea are superb too.
