The water flowing into the sea is coming from hot natural springs, hence the rising steam.

A distinctive and characteristic scene in Japan. The rising steam really shows that Ibusuki is famous as a hot spring. I like this composition that not only the sea but also islands in the distance are well captured at the same time. Excellent shot. Have a nice day. :)
