Butterflies at Wisley

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 23 March 2014 in Animal & Insect.

I'm back from Tokyo, with a few new pictures, but first I'm posting a few images from a visit to the gardens at RHS Wisley we made just before I left. There was a special event going on, where for a brief period they released butterflies into the glasshouse. These chrysalises were being carefully tended, and kept in display cases so visitors could get a closer look.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!
