A Stroll Through Senoo 4

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 28 July 2014 in Cityscape & Urban.

These new four-bedroom houses were being constructed on a plot in the town. Sobering to realise these large new houses, with all mod-cons, were 3/4 of the price of our small 1960s 2-bedroom flat in south London...

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

So clean and neat! I like the light here.

@Richard Standley: Cheers Richard!

These are lovely houses but very closely spaced as they must be to be affordable. My son and his wife recently bought a new house based on the same concept of little clearance between houses. It's not as tight as this though.

I think the key to the pricing difference you mention is "London", the world's most expensive city to live.

@Steve Rice: I know Steve... it's crazy the housing situation here...

Ah, yes, living in London does tend to distort the view of property values . . the space between my place and next door is so narrow even the cat cannot get through !

@Ronnie 2¢: Watch out, someone might want to develop that space Ronnie...
