Approaching Osaka

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 26 September 2014 in Cityscape & Urban.

Back to some images from Japan. This rather anonymous urban scene, taken out the window of the shinkansen when approaching Osaka, is actually a fleeting glimpse of the last place we called home, five years ago now - Sonoda, in Amagasaki city. It was bittersweet to see it briefly, then pass on by.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Fine capture Daryl! Is this a city airport?

@Richard Standley: Thanks Richard - Osaka's Itami airport is just behind...

It looks similar to scenes I saw on the Shinkansen. A fine place to call home.
