Teshima Art Museum 7

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 29 September 2015 in Landscape & Rural.

Entering the main feature of the museum - this concrete dome, of which more information can be found here....

No photography permitted inside I'm afraid!

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

I quite like the simplicity of the place Daryl!

@Richard Standley: Cheers Richard!

More curious by the day . . as well as cameras and phones, I see no pens or pencils may be used in the museum or food eaten. Reminds me they were trying to waken a guy who had fallen asleep in the Victoria & Albert yesterday near the stone caskets.

@Ronnie 2¢: I did not fall asleep here Ronnie..! The rules were quite disappointing in that I couldn't document anything (I could have bought images in the gift shop of course...) but actually I guess that is one of the intentions - being aware that I couldn't take any photos made me pay more attention to what I saw inside, so I just let go and soaked up the experience.

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

And you have to take your shoes off. ;-)
