A Trip to the Anpanman Museum, Kobe

Anpanman is one of the most popular cartoon characters in Japan - you can't help but spot him or his friends on merchandising, advertising, food packaging, everything in Japan... he's also one of my daughter's favourites. So, we made a trip to Kobe last year to take her to the Anpanman Museum located there on the waterfront. It's less of a museum and more of a children's play park / shopping mall really, although there are items on display such as this sketch from Anpanman's creator, Takashi Yanase.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!
