On the Banks of the Yodogawa 2

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 14 April 2016 in Cityscape & Urban.

There was so much going on as I walked along the river... all sorts of sports, including this baseball game. All sorts of age groups, all sorts of activities, so many people enjoying this open space. This is quite typical of the way these spaces are used in the different Japanese cities I've lived in. Such a sense of community.

Perhaps this sentiment is why, in my memory, the weather was much brighter and sunnier this day than these photos clearly reveal!

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

I like the contrast between the two river banks Daryl!

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

People are drawn to this green oasis in the sea of concrete. A pretty shot.
