Aisukurin Stall, Kochi Castle

Slightly different to ice cream, ice krin is a water-ice sweet very popular in Kochi. I found out it's basically ice cream made with less milk solids, hence the more icy texture. It used to be popular all over Japan but over time has become something of a Kochi speciality. The stalls with their parasols are a familiar sight in Kochi... more info here if you are interested: http://visitkochijapan.com/things_to_do/food_culture/ice_crin.html

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!
