The Acropolis, Athens

Posted by

A break from Japan for a while... I had a weekend trip to Athens a couple of weeks ago; a whistle-stop tour, but we did have time to see the famous
Acropolis. It is an impressive place. It is, understandably, full of tourists, but you need to not be bothered by that and just appreciate the antiquity and the architecture. I felt the amount of people there from all over the world was part of the spectacle.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!
