Hanami, Osaka Mint

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 19 March 2019 in Lifestyle & Culture.

The Osaka Mint (as in place where coins are made) is famous for the late-blossoming sakura cherry-blossom trees lining its grounds. Many of the sakura here are rare or unusual examples. We visited last April, and despite it being a bit of an overcast day, you can see how popular a tourist attraction it has become over time...

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Indeed, the blossom is a joy to behold and it does 'connect' with folks somehow.
